Sailing Through to First Grade...

...which explains the sailor hats instead of graduation hats. Logan corrected me more than a couple times that it was a Kindergarten Celebration not Kindergarten graduation. Her class and the other AM Kindergarten class sang us a couple of songs that were cute (see the video below). One was the alphabet song (by Perry Como?) that reminds me of my Grandma and Mom and the other was about what they want to be when they grow up. They all took turns shouting out what they wanted to be. Logan apparently wants to be a ballerina.

They each had made a sailboat so we took those outside to sail them in little pools and then they threw their hats in the air, had some treats received their certificate and called it good. It was a fun day. She had a great teacher and made some good little friends. I'm proud of my little Logan. Something about her just melts my heart.

So so cute!! I totally want to be a cute teacher who does fun stuff like that. Looks like she had a great year! Kindergarten is the best! Great job Logan!!

I always thought Logan looked like Todd, but seeing her on video, she is SO MUCH LIKE YOU!! Her mannerisms are like 100% Kat (ie: nervous twitches like chewing her fingernails or licking her lips a certain way). So stinkin cute. It's mini me...er, mini you! :)

p.s. gotta love the little kid picking his nose to the left of Logan :)
