A couple of weeks ago we put Aubrey on the floor in sitting position and BAM! she's a sitter. We completely skipped the putting pillows around her so she wouldn't fall stage. She does fall sometimes but mostly she catches herself before she does. We think her core must just be strong enough from her sit-ups to skip that stage. Either way, it's nice to finally be able to put her down sans Bumbo seat or Super Saucer.
